“You are not struggling to conceive; you are evolving to conceive”

With over 25 years in clinical practice, Emma has helped countless patients achieve their dream of having a family.

Fertility consultations take many forms. For some people, this is simply a reassurance to confirm that things are normal and give you some individual advice about how you might improve your general health and wellbeing, and optimise your fertility. For others, a consultation can be much more involved and may require medical intervention and a series of recommended follow up treatments.

In each case, Emma works collaboratively with a team of experts, the best in their field, who she knows and trusts. Although Emma is trained in a different way from her medical colleagues they share the same aim: healthy pregnancies and healthy babies. Whenever Emma meets a new client for the first time, her focus is always the same; to help you become FERTILE.

Initially, Emma will look at all aspects of your health and life, emotions, environment and relationships. Her next aim is to re-educate you regarding the things you can do to help yourself, such as your diet, lifestyle and outlook. Together you will then explore the best ways for you, or you and your partner, to optimise conception. This may include changing elements of your lifestyle, devising a nutritional plan, looking at stress & traumatic life experiences and the role of supportive treatments such as acupuncture.

In every initial consultation with a new patient, Emma will devise a bespoke fertility programme in order to support your medical treatments, or create a bespoke lifestyle plan that will help you to conceive naturally.

You may wish to consult with Emma for a number of reasons, including:

  • Planning your fertility journey

  • Seeking support for your mainstream fertility treatments such as IVF or egg donation

  • You are in a single sex relationship and seek practical / emotional support

  • You are expecting

  • Recent or repeat miscarriage

  • Baby loss

Miscarriage Support

The causes of miscarriage are not always easy to establish. Most of the work I do around miscarriage involves helping women recover, as well as helping women who have had miscarriages in the past with subsequent pregnancies. Research suggests that when women are well supported in subsequent pregnancies following miscarriage, it can improve pregnancy outcomes.

Nutrition Consultation

Optimal nutritional status may improve fertility in women and men and increase the chances of achieving and sustaining a healthy pregnancy.
